Terms of Service for OmniQuiz: AI Trivia 1v1

1. The OmniQuiz service

OmniQuiz is a mobile trivia game with solo question sets, AI-generated quizzes, live 1v1 battles, missions, achievements, rewards, virtual items, player progress, and leaderboards. Features can vary by device, platform, location, app version, account state, and service availability.

We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for lawful, non-commercial entertainment in accordance with these Terms and applicable app-store rules.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If local law requires consent from a parent or guardian, you may use OmniQuiz only with that consent. A parent or guardian who permits use is responsible for supervising it, including purchases and online player interactions.

3. Accounts and sign-in

OmniQuiz supports Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, email and password, and anonymous play where available. You are responsible for the activity associated with your account, keeping your sign-in method secure, and providing accurate profile information. Do not share, sell, transfer, impersonate, or create accounts to evade restrictions.

Your display name and in-app avatar can appear to other signed-in players in battles and leaderboards. Choose an appropriate name and do not use a name that infringes rights, impersonates another person, or is abusive or misleading. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Fair play and prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• cheat, collude, manipulate scores, results, matchmaking, rankings, rewards, or the virtual economy;
• use bots, scripts, emulators, unauthorized automation, modified clients, or other tools to gain an unfair advantage;
• exploit bugs, duplicate purchases or rewards, bypass limits, interfere with purchase verification, or avoid security and App Check controls;
• probe, disrupt, overload, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the App, accounts, data, networks, or backend services;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• submit unlawful, hateful, abusive, sexually explicit, dangerous, deceptive, privacy-invasive, or rights-infringing quiz topics or content;
• harass other players, misuse player names, or attempt to collect another person's information; or
• use the App for unlawful, commercial, or unauthorized purposes.

If you discover a vulnerability or an economy or scoring error, stop using it and report it to us. We may correct affected balances, rankings, rewards, or match results when reasonably necessary to restore integrity.

5. AI-generated quizzes

You can select a language, difficulty, category, and topic for an AI-generated quiz. Your request must comply with these Terms and must not contain personal, confidential, unlawful, or infringing information. You remain responsible for the topic you submit.

AI-generated questions, answers, and hints can be incorrect, incomplete, outdated, biased, or unsuitable. They are provided for entertainment and general-information purposes, not as professional, medical, legal, financial, safety, or other expert advice. Verify important information independently and do not rely on generated content for consequential decisions.

We may reject requests, limit generation frequency, remove generated material, or change generation systems to protect users, service quality, providers, and platform integrity.

6. Battles, scoring, and leaderboards

Live battles and leaderboards depend on network conditions, opponent availability, validated game events, and backend processing. Matchmaking, timing, questions, scoring, rankings, and rewards may be corrected when an error, abuse, disconnection, or integrity problem is detected. We do not guarantee a particular opponent, rank, reward, or uninterrupted match.

7. In-app purchases and virtual items

OmniQuiz may offer purchases of virtual items or game currency through Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices, taxes, payment authorization, billing records, cancellations, and refunds are handled by the applicable store and its rules, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

We validate purchase receipts or tokens before granting items. You must not reuse, falsify, tamper with, or attempt to obtain value from an invalid purchase. Contact the store for billing or refund issues and contact us if a verified purchase was not delivered correctly.

Virtual items—including tokens, hearts, keys, hints, rewards, stars, cups, swords, or other in-game balances—are licensed features of the App. They are not money or property, have no cash value, and cannot be sold, transferred, redeemed outside the App, or exchanged for cash unless we expressly provide that capability. We may adjust balances to correct errors, fraud, duplicate fulfillment, or violations of these Terms.

8. Advertising and rewarded ads

OmniQuiz may display non-personalized advertising. Some rewarded ads are optional: if you choose an offered ad and complete it as required, the App may grant the stated virtual reward after server-side validation. Ad availability and successful reward delivery are not guaranteed and can depend on provider availability, limits, connectivity, and validation.

9. Intellectual property

The App, its software, artwork, design, branding, databases, and original content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. Third-party names, services, and content remain the property of their owners.

If you send feedback, you permit us to use it without restriction or compensation, provided that we do not publicly identify you as its source without permission.

10. Third-party services

OmniQuiz relies on services provided by Google, Firebase, Apple, OpenAI, AdMob, Apple App Store, and Google Play. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for a third-party service outside our control, though this does not limit any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Service availability and changes

We may maintain, update, add, remove, rebalance, restrict, suspend, or discontinue features, virtual items, rewards, content, or platform support for operational, security, legal, provider, game-balance, or product reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Where required, we will provide notice or remedies under applicable law.

12. Suspension, termination, and account deletion

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access, remove content, or correct account state when we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, threatened users or service security, committed fraud, manipulated the game economy, or created legal or platform risk. The response may reflect the severity and recurrence of the conduct.

You may stop using OmniQuiz at any time and may delete your account using the Delete Account control in the profile or account drawer. Deletion removes access and the primary account data described in the Privacy Policy. Limited purchase, fraud, security, quiz-session, and match-operation records may remain for integrity, legal, and operational reasons. Deleting the App from a device does not by itself delete the account.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OmniQuiz is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that trivia content, including AI-generated material, is accurate or complete, or that progress, matches, virtual items, and online services will always be available.

These disclaimers do not exclude warranties, guarantees, or consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for loss of data, progress, opportunity, or profits arising from use of or inability to use the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer protections.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the App, our providers, platform rules, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Terms here and update the date above. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms where permitted; additional notice or consent will be provided when required.
